PENRITH City has approved the construction of a mixed-use development, at 111 Andrews Road, Cranebrook, including a service station, restaurants, medical centre, pharmacy, café, gymnasium, valued at $4.3MM.
MERITON LISTS NORTH RYDE
THE Meriton Group, Australia’s largest apartment developer, has listed the 199-unit Meriton Suites North Ryde with an asking price of about $150 million. JLL Hotels & Hospitality has been appointed to market the sale for the largest serviced apartment complex in the Macquarie Park area. Meriton acquired the site in 2012.
ROXY TOWER PROPOSAL
A PROPOSAL has been submitted to the City of Parramatta for consideration to add a 126-metre tower of 33 floors directly above the vacant Roxy building, in George Street, in the Parramatta CBD, to be used as a cafe, restaurant and theatre.
PRIVATE INVESTOR SPENDS $68M
A LOCAL private investor has bought the 1.7-hectare, 41,000-square-metre Chester Square Shopping Centre for $68.5 million, from a Smorgon-family-linked company The centre last changed hands in 2010 when the company picked up the centre from Mirvac Group for $29.5 million.
